WP Engine is looking for a Director of Lead Generation for the growing marketing team. The right candidate will have a deep experience in SaaS platforms and we prefer skills in both B2B and B2C markets. This newly created role reports directly to the head of marketing and has huge opportunity to make a direct impact on WP Engine’s explosive growth. In this role you will move seamlessly from crafting and executing a visionary plan for the team to showing an individual team member how to perform the task.

The right person will have track record of building and guiding lead generation/business development teams to over achieve lead quotas. This Senior member of the marketing team will also mentor and guide members of their team to achieve amazing performance and job satisfaction at WP Engine.
Duties and Resposibilities

Define the Lead Generation vision and strategy

Manage, lead, build, and support an experienced, lead generation team to over achieve assigned quota of qualified leads to the field sales organization

Partner with the sales organization to ensure goals, deliverables and expectations are aligned and met

Define and deploy best practice prospecting methodologies and processes across all aspects of the lead generation workflow

Manage our lead generation program through email, print, webinar, online, etc.

Set strategy and manage build of campaigns through segmentation; understanding how to leverage data to target key audiences

Implement tracking to help optimize and improve conversion (like lead scoring)

Employ nurturing strategies to expand revenue in existing customers

Meet lead gen target numbers

Build demand gen programs that focus on various trigger events within the cycle

Deploy systems, tools and technologies, including Salesforce.com , marketing automation, and market intelligence tools, that ensure team productivity and efficiency with full metric tracking and reporting capabilities

Monitor and report on lead quota attainment on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Stay abreast of and educate the team on industry leading best practices and methodologies, and ensure these are adopted as appropriate into our lead generation processes

Requirements

Minimum 7 years experience in a B2B / B2C marketing role.

Minimum 7+ years of Lead Generation / Marketing experience including individual contributor and leadership roles

Experience in supporting and analyzing marketing programs to drive lead generation.

Proven ability managing teams.

Expert in prospecting best practices and tactics with the ability to train team members in how to successfully learn and deploy these best practices

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to manage teams and vendors to meet deadlines.

Previous experience at an online business required

Experience with SalesForce preferred.

Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
