This person will report to the VP of Talent, work closely with the President of the company, and partner with the heads of HR and Talent Acquisition. He or she should have strong leadership capabilities, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a blend of grit and optimism that allows them to bring positive energy to any situation.

Key Responsibilities

The overarching responsibility of this role is to ensure the development of leaders required to meet our growth goals. Specifically, this individual will cover:

Performance Management

  • Lead (instead of Leading)performance management process, ensuring high quality, on-time reviews across the business
  • Lead succession planning process
  • Partner with HR Director to support employee relations efforts
Training and Development

  • Lead LRW University including managing the program (with Training Coordinator), making improvements, developing new materials and tracks as needed and facilitating management training as appropriate
  • Manage the Star Development program including specialized training, individual learning paths, and coaching as needed
  • Lead on-boarding for all new employees including running Orientation, Cohort training, 1-week Immersion program, and Business Development integration
  • Enhance our Apprentice learning efforts to ensure maximum on-the-job growth
  • Coach managers across the business
  • Manage and develop Training Coordinator
Organization Development

  • Lead change management efforts across the company and within business units
  • Partner with VP of Talent to lead effort to improve margin across the business
  • Work with Talent Team to embed Talent strategies within the company
  • Partner with business unit leaders to improve team performance and dynamics through assessment, team development, and other levers
  • Partner with VP of Talent to drive continuous improvement through organizational design strategy
  • Lead Employee Satisfaction and Best Place to Work initiatives
Work Experience

A minimum of 5 years experience creating and implementing training and organization development interventions. Ideal candidate will also have some HR generalist experience, especially in the area of employee relations. Experience in marketing, market research, or consulting a plus. Specific experience in the following areas is required:

Performance Management

Change Management

Leadership Development

Instructional Design

Training Facilitation

Master's Degree in communication, business, organization development, education, or related area preferred.


Able to think strategically and make sound, data-based business decisions

Experience in the management of large and small scale systems implementation initiatives

Some experience managing staff is helpful

Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues and clients to drive change and influence the adoption of new behaviors

Strong instructional design/adult learning principles, emphasis on use of technology and new media to deliver learning programs

Able to design training and change management project plans that address identified business needs

Strong project planning, project management, and project integration skills. Internal client and vendor relationship management is required

Experience using survey and assessment tools to identify business needs and measure effectiveness of solutions

Proven exceptional communication skills, especially when interacting with Senior Leadership

Proven exceptional group facilitation skills
