As the Director of Market Research, you will be responsible for designing and conducting market research and providing senior management with business strategy conclusions and recommendations to support existing and new products and services.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and 10 plus years of experience collaborating with product and business development to support business case creation, experience with gathering primary and secondary research using various methods.

Principal Responsibilities: •

Develops and conducts research studies aimed at determining business and investor trends, forecasting future trends and projecting market potential in an effort to help develop market strategies to identify new business opportunities to support fund clients, investors and intermediaries. •
Evaluates consumer demographics, competition, distribution channels, and promotions to enhance business and product development strategies. •
Conducts complex market research studies and needs analysis to determine sales of products and/or services in support of organization's marketing plans to increase customer buying potential. •
Communicates and collaborates with numerous managers at all levels to discuss
problems, ideas, and recommendations impacting the procurement of new business. •
Contributes to Boston Financials Thought Leadership including white papers, webcasts and forums.

Job Qualifications include:

Knowledge •

Knowledge of research methods and techniques lines. •
Excellent in-depth financial services industry knowledge. •
Knowledge of financial services databases, trade news and research publications.

Skills and Abilities •

Ability to understand and accurately convert everyday
business issues and decision needs into valid research designs
and convey findings and recommendations in a compelling and understandable manner •
Proficiency and flexibility in adapting to differing research styles. •
Advanced fluency and proficiency in creating MS Excel and MS PowerPoint presentations. •
Excellent time management skills; ability to meet tight deadlines and multitask. •
Excellent, clear and articulate verbal and written communication skills. •
Strong forecasting and modeling capabilities
