DSC Quantitative Group, LLC (DSCQG), a well-capitalized alternative investment company located in Chicago, is seeking a Director of Marketing and Sales to lead the company’s asset gathering efforts. DSCQG creates quantitative alternative investment products in the Venture Capital, Private Equity and Hedge Fund areas for institutional and retail investors. DSCQG recently launched an investable Venture Capital Index with Thomson Reuters and is developing additional products under the same brand. With a focus on liquid alternatives, DSCQG is in the process of launching its first mutual fund linked to the Thomson Reuters Venture Capital Index.

  • Develop and lead the company’s marketing and distribution activities for both institutional and retail investors
  • Create a comprehensive strategic marketing plan for existing and future product offerings
  • Develop investor relationships through established networks, and in cooperation with selected third-party agents
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of product marketing materials
  • Serve as a spokesperson for the company’s investment products, manage product awareness initiatives & investor communications
  • Facilitate investor due diligence
  • A proven track record with a minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience raising assets for alternative investment products
  • Extensive Client relationships: RIAs, Independent Broker Dealers, Family Offices, Pensions , Foundations, Endowments and Consultants
  • The capability to identify and close sales opportunities
  • A high level of oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial markets including alternative investment strategies such as venture capital, private equity and hedge funds
  • Awareness of legal and compliance issues related to registered investment products
  • Willingness to travel on a regular basis
  • Advanced degree or CAIA preferred
  • Series 7
