The Director of Marketing and Communications reports directly to the Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives in the School of Business and leads the marketing and communications planning and implementation. He/she manages the North Carolina Central University brand, consistent with the brand strategy and guidelines of the University. He/she develops, implements and measures integrated marketing and communications programs to recruit students, faculty, staff and corporate partners. He/she manages all internal communications within the School of Business. He/she manages all School of Business events. He/she provides budget and financial management for marketing within the School of Business. He/she performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives.
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in the marketing, branding and communications field. A degree in business is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a requirement.
