Job Specific Information:
Outstanding opportunity for a Director of Marketing to manage our Marketing and Professional Relations Departments. The person in this position will have a key role on the management team at our Tarpon Springs, FL headquarters. Although a background in marketing is required and most important, we would be extremely interested in a candidate who also possesses a strong knowledge of ophthalmology (preferably through work experience in the field).
Responsibilities for this position include: Implementing and evaluating marketing strategies, tactics and execution, maximizing exposure in the marketplace, managing all advertising and marketing efforts, overseeing and promoting public and professional relations, leading and directing the work of others, etc. This is a “hands on” position.
Requirements include: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to understand market trends, financial data, and customer needs; creativity and a good creative eye, with a preference to a candidate with hands on creative capabilities; good judgment; time management skills; and leadership skills.
