General Description / Purpose:
Support corporate-wide initiatives, as well as manage the company’s image and reputation with internal and external audiences Manage the corporate voice using a unique set of tools and tactics to communicate with TBG’s key stakeholders including customers, employees, the local community, and all other interested parties.
Serve as point of contact for business and regional MarComm Managers regarding corporate positioning, companywide directives, recent pronouncements, etc. Manage corporate public relations activities including TBG-level press releases, community relations and handling local inquiries. Provide senior managers and C suite executives with communications support, i.e., event management, speeches, presentations, preparation for public appearances, media interviews, correspondence, etc. Work collaboratively with HR to implement company-wide, global employee communications.
Interface Points and Communication Responsibilities:
Director of TBG Communications: work together to coordinate TBG-level announcements and to provide background and support as need Senior Leadership: collaborate to develop & implement Exec. Comm. Plan for companywide directives, announcements, speeches, etc. Human Resources: collaborate to develop & implement Employee Comm. Plan Business Marcomm & Regional Managers: work collaboratively to proactively share information and corp. content for company-wide directives, announcements, etc.; collaborate in-region Executive events; collaborate to ensure proper brand usage Marketing Services Director: provides inputs for demand forecasting; accesses services via RoboHead; develops corporate content as needed; collaborate to ensure proper brand application globally
Plans for Group PR, Leadership Comm, Employee Comm. Successfully execute the development and distribution of all TBG-level press releases Promote and protect the company’s corporate reputation Group PR, Leadership, Employee Comm. programs are completed on schedule and on budget following prescribed processes and procedures
