Based out of Colorado Springs, CO, the Director of Membership will be responsible for all executive and financial responsibilities for the HDI association. In addition, the Director will drive development, retention, programs, local chapters, forums and overall community relationships. The ideal candidate will possess expert level relationship building skills and have a passion for driving community. The Director of Membership participates in designing and creating the strategic direction of the company in conjunction with the executive team.
Additional responsibilities include:
: Development and direction of key initiatives to drive business goals for the overall company
: Manage and adjust to business developments to insure business goals are being met.
: Develop and manage staff of 6 including; Forum Manager, Local Chapter Manager, Customer Care Center supervisor and staff.
: Write industry articles for publications and contribute content to HDIConnect and Local Chapter network.
: Develop and deliver presentations for industry and community network
: Provide leadership opportunities and provide guidance to staff for growth.
: Provide leadership and recommendations to all local chapter volunteers and provide leadership in the community with respect to HDI.
: Member of the Member Advisory Board (MAB). If called upon, will serve as a member of various HDI Director and Advisory boards including the One Association Board (OAB) and the Strategic Advisory Board (SAB). Represent any and all committees as needed for membership.
Requirements and desired skills:
: BSBA Degree or equivalent
: Experience in strategic planning
: Experience managing P&L
: Strong writing and analytical skills
: IT support industry experience preferred
: Experience working with executive level personnel
: Experience in people management and leadership
: Excellent presentation skills
: Strong interpersonal skills
: Excellent relationship building skills
: Frequent travel required (average of once per month). This includes visiting, and speaking at local chapter meetings, establishing new chapters, and supporting HDI conferences
