Imperva is looking for a stellar Sr. Manager/ Director of Pathways (Field and Channel) Marketing to join the Strategic Marketing team, located at corporate HQ in Redwood Shores, CA. The Sr. Manager/ Director of Pathways Marketing will lead the strategy, development, and execution of our field marketing and channel programs. This position will work closely with global Area Sales VPs to support regional goals, as well as with the VP of Channel Sales to define and execute on overall channel program structure, communications, and campaigns. The candidate will understand how to extend and leverage corporate campaigns versus re-creating in the field. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with proven, hands-on experience developing and executing field and channel marketing programs whose success is based on obtaining new leads and advancing existing leads through the pipeline.
Functional areas of responsibility include: Field Marketing for AMER and EMEA, plus strong collaboration with APJ; global channel program structure, communications, and campaigns
Leadership of a six-person team located around the world
Act as the field marketing lead for the sales team, including the representation and strategic positioning of all national marketing programs that impact the region’s sales goals
Interface with field sales, sales operations, and marketing team to ensure agreement on sales priorities within plans; be the voice of marketing into sales and the voice of sales into marketing
Develop field marketing strategy, plans and programs to support direct and channel sales, ensuring alignment at a national and regional level
Develop channel marketing strategy, plans, and programs to support indirect sales channels
Ensure the corporate campaign team and sales has the information, tools, and materials to advance prospects through stages of the sales cycle, including opportunity development
Work with marketing to leverage national programs, awareness events, thought leadership content, and public relations initiatives
Drive the development, communication, and implementation of quarterly and annual field and channel marketing plans and budgets
Requires a hands-on leader with proven track-record of planning and executing successful field marketing and demand generation campaigns with high ROI
Ability to juggle multiple projects through highly effective organizational skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills demonstrated in a fast-paced environment
Minimum of 10 years of experience in B2B enterprise environments with a concentration in field marketing, channel marketing, and/or channel sales; willingness to travel
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of focus
Experience using Marketing Automation tools, process and procedures; knowledge and expertise with Eloqua and SFDC is desired
