Scope of Position

The primary responsibility of the Quality Director is to promote and implement the Turnberry Brand in the Hotel, establish training and tracking systems, develop strategies and approaches on organizational leadership, facilitate process improvement and develop performance measuring systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Quality Leadership, Hotel Operations, and Learning & Development along with the following qualifications:
  • College Degree
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Hotel, Service Industry, or Quality Management
  • At least 2 years working in managerial/ leadership position
  • Extensive knowledge of Hotel Departmental Operations
  • Experience leading teams
  • Knowledgeable in business, quality management, training and development, knowledge management and service industry
  • Sound experience in business assessment and quality audits
  • Highly competent in report writing and improvement facilitation
  • Skillful in standards and procedures writing
  • Highly proficient in both written and spoken English
  • Skillful in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Processing
Responsibilities

  • Promote the Turnberry Brand Culture and practices
  • Develop and maintain Turnberry Brand Culture (such as Internal Communication Structure, Strategic and Improvement teams, etc.)
  • Coordinate internal strategic and improvement teams
  • Conduct Brand internal audits
  • Create an environment where Turnberry Brand Culture is instilled and promoted
  • Manage and facilitate Turnberry Brand improvement teams
  • Implement Brand surveys and guest feedback systems
  • Monitor and coordinate Hotel's mystery shoppers program
  • Coordinate quality audit and assessment programs
  • Facilitate the development and improvement of standards and procedures
  • Develop document control system
  • Integrate quality systems with other relevant systems in areas such as health and safety
  • Develop performance measuring system
  • Achieve quality awards, recognitions and certificates
