NutraClick is looking for a dedicated, experienced, and analytical Director of Retention Marketing who will lead us to nurture and optimize the customer experience to engage, retain, and increase lifetime value for consumers of the brands we develop internally. This person will drive the overall strategy to increase customer lifetime value by effectively optimizing marketing programs and identifying new campaigns to support and encourage repeat engagement. A strong background in subscription retention marketing and a desire to help build exciting new brands is necessary to succeed in this role. He or she must be looking to become part of a high-energy marketing team in a fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the CMO of NutraClick, he or she will manage the Retention Marketing team.

Manage the overall strategy and execution of customer nurture campaigns and loyalty programs across all brands, using data to optimize performance and ensure effectiveness.

Direct the execution and delivery of all retention emails to adopt an omni-channel marketing approach to streamline the customer experience and encourage repeat purchases.

Develop clear and consistent customer messaging across all brands and channels.

Analyze customer behavior to report on effectiveness of existing initiatives and identify new opportunities.

Drive the development and testing of approaches to deliver personalized marketing campaigns to consumers to maximize the efficiency of retention marketing spend.

Institute a rigorous test-and-learn methodology to achieve desired results.

Partner with other team leaders and cross-company departments to drive reporting, analysis, and strategies for acquisition, retention, and win-back.

Manage a small team of retention marketing professionals and support the development of talent within the organization.

Develop and execute subscription loyalty strategies, evaluating customer segments and billing behaviors to extend the continuity lifetime.

Maximize cross-sell and upsell strategies to increase customer lifetime value.

Desired Skills & Experience

Ability to think and perform both tactically and strategically.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or similar, MBA preferred.

5+ years of retention/subscription marketing experience.

Able to pivot readily and react to real-time and long-term data.

Thrives in a data-driven business environment

Ability to multitask and work well within a dynamic, fast-paced organization.

Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.

Familiarity with Excel and Exact Target a plus.

Experience with database marketing in an e-commerce, subscription, or continuity business model required.
