Fergus Falls is a community of 13,500 friendly people and is a family-oriented community with an excellent school system and community college. Housing is affordable, and the job market is strong. The city created and maintains numerous parks within the city limits. Pebble Lake, which is a five-minute drive from the city, has a public beach and DeLagoon Park which offers camping, softball complexes, playgrounds and public access to the lake. The Position
Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Finance (CFO), the Director of Revenue Cycle will lead the healthcare revenue cycle, playing an active role in the strategic planning processes, interfacing and working in collaboration with the Operations Council and with all departments and functions which require services of the Revenue Cycle team. This person will oversee six critical functions including PFS, Billing, Provider Coding and Registration and will manage a team of six team coordinators with a total of 80 reports. This role requires extensive knowledge of reporting and benchmarks as it pertains to the Revenue Cycle department.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring strength to the leadership team and be accustomed to managing through a time of change. Due to the level of this position, the Director will have face-to-face interaction with multiple divisions of the hospital; therefore, excellent communication, time management, political savviness, organization, and interpersonal skills are necessary to succeed. Efficiency and the ability to prioritize goals and objectives are essential. LRH utilizes a provider based billing model and the ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge of this structure.

Education and Experience
Education/Experience: Bachelors required, preferably in business, health or public administration, management, or a related field. Master’s degree in hospital or business administration, accounting, finance, or related field and closely related clinical disciple preferred. A minimum of 5 years management experience in the healthcare receivables field required
