Market to advertisers and agencies, television, event and digital opportunities to optimize sports platform revenue capacity and expand access to multiplatform advertising budgets
  • Close new business by selling sponsorships, experiential marketing programs, advertising media, branded content and related integrated marketing programs to marketers across the NBC Sports Ventures portfolio
  • Effectively create demand in the marketplace
  • Drive non-traditional revenue opportunities
  • Analyze product and service categories to source new business opportunities
  • Collaborate extensively with key internal and external stakeholders throughout sales cycle
  • Articulate the value proposition for media and marketing investments asked of our advertiser and agency constituents
  • Close deals, and increase revenue year over year
  • Effectively communicate our properties’ brand messaging to the marketplace

  • Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ business development experience in Sports marketing industry
  • Seasoned sales executive with a proven track record of generating revenue in traditional media, as well as in sponsorship, branded entertainment, and online or other digital ventures
  • Broad knowledge of live sports distribution platforms and high-level relationships across the national advertising industry
  • Experience with selling across varied demographic audiences and product/service categories
  • Sharp negotiating skills, brand building expertise
  • Must be a self-starter and a quick study
  • Strategic and creative thinker who can translate (and sell through) client marketing challenges into customized and compelling marketing solutions
  • Exceptional presentation skills
