Mixpo is a cloud-based video advertising platform that enables Media Companies, Brand Advertisers, and Agencies to create and deploy interactive, multi-screen video ads at scale. Media Companies use Mixpo’s platform to seamlessly extend TV campaigns across all of their digital properties – websites, mobile sites, and apps. As a Director of Sales, you will develop business through selling Mixpo’s multi-ccreen video solution to new publisher/media companies and support revenue growth from Mixpo’s existing world-class client roster.
You will work closely with our client services team to support partners’ successful sales of Mixpo’s online video solutions; including collaboratively developing custom ad products, sales training, advertiser packages/presentations, delivering post-campaign analysis and reporting and to ensure overall flawless delivery leading to repeat business.
Specific responsibilities include
Owning relationships and business/revenue goals with specific publisher/media companies
Supporting new business opportunities/goals within existing publisher channel partners
Providing strategic guidance on how best to deploy Mixpo technology in order to achieve advertiser goals
Managing the creation of reporting and insights in order to demonstrate Mixpo value to both Publisher client and their advertisers
Acting as a communications conduit between Publisher client and Mixpo in order to capture service and product needs
Communicate selling needs and industry trends to marketing and product teams
This role requires strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication abilities. In addition, the ideal candidate has a strong background in selling advertising solutions and technology to publishers or in digital media sales. Significant experience in sales marketing or planning will also be considered. This individual must have proven success in managing client expectations, meeting deadlines, multi-tasking, and working across functional groups. A passion for client and hence company success is paramount.
Specific job requirements include:
Minimum 5 years sales experience in digital advertising, rich media or selling advertising technology solutions to publishers
Bachelor’s Degree required, Marketing or equivalent degree preferred
Thorough understanding of the digital media ecosystem and sales process
Knowledge of interactive advertising. Rich media/video advertising and/or performance media experience preferred
Strong entrepreneurial attitude required
Experience in a start-up or fast paced technology environment desirable
Ability to work with minimal supervision
