The Director of Sales has ownership for managing sales and distribution relationships within the assigned operator’s headquarters in order to achieve defined business goals. The DOS works closely with the Executive Director, Director of Product and Partner Marketing Manager for the respective carrier business unit. The successful candidate is a person who understands the business drivers that are important to wireless operators and end consumers and can articulate this in a way that forms a strategic vision and tactical plan against which the sell through organization can be mobilized in support. He or she will have a track record in complex, multi-year sales to wireless operators successfully.
Manage the corporate sales relationships at the assigned operator
Secure National Sales Programs for the sell through team to drive to achieve targets
Support pricing, marketing and promotion negotiations with mobile operator
Channel Operations Coordination to drive sell through programs for respective operator
Manage a group of Area Sales Managers
Achieve sell in and sell thru targets for the respective account
Communication liaison between carrier account team and sell thru team
Other duties as assigned
The successful candidate will have:
1) This person must be entrepreneurial in nature
2) We prefer this person to have 5-8 years of national account experience with wireless operators
3) We are looking for managers who have a collaborative management style and can gather resources together quickly and effectively to produce win-win results. This takes particular skill in sales , consensus building, arbitration, and project management, making these essential requirements for the position
4) It is imperative to have exceptional presentation and written communication skills
