We have a global client/ Platinum Salesforce.com (SFDC) Partner seeking a Director of Sales, West Region. It is a new position (not a replacement) and the candidate will cover CA, WA, OR, NV, WY, MT, AK, AZ, HI territory. Quota in the $1.2-$1.7 range with an outstanding commission and competitive salary. OTE 230K with NO CAPS! The VP of Sales states the earnings will be much greater than the OTE of 230K.
The qualified candidate for this role will be able to structure, price, sell and negotiate deals within the professional services/consultancy space (implementation, integration, outsourcing. The Director will drive new business while maintaining a solid profit margin and manage multiple concurrent opportunities across all business offerings. The Director of Sales will monitor the performance of assigned region and ensure he/she is meeting or exceeding company objectives.
Here are the MUST HAVES for this role based on the West Coast. No relocation is provided and client wants someone whohas established relationships on the West Coast.
10 yearsof successful sales inProfessional Services (implementation, integration, outsourcing) in aConsulting environmentis a must (we are not looking for pure software sales)
Thorough understanding of SFDC or other cloud solutions: Oracle On Demand, Suiteapp, SAP Business Bydesign, Microsoft Dynamics, SugarCRM, Zoho, Nimble, Sage Partner Solution Source, etc.
Must have first-hand expertise with SFA & CRM markets , application services, marketing automation, client care BPO and or application modernization solutions
Demonstrated business development, carrying a quota, selling and relationship Management skills
Demonstrated leadership and team building skills
Must have the proven ability todo presentations at the C levelincluding the ability to influence and negotiate with decision makers
Solid problem solving and decision making skills coupled with strong analytical thought processes
Must keep up with key industry players and trends in the marketplace
Demonstrated experience with deal scoping, proposal writing, deal structuring and contract negotiations.
Bachelors Degree Preferred but experience may be considered in lieu of a degree .
Three plus years in field experience as an individual contributor with individual quota responsibility
There is a very strong base salary plus a very high commission plan! The company has a non-recoverable draw as well.
