The Director of Secure Logistics is an executive position that directly manages the strategic planning, staffing, administration, and daily management of Global Supply Chain & Secure Logistics for multiple fortune 500 clients globally. The Director shall work directly with the client’s to evaluate current business processes, guide the direction of supply chain analysis, establish benchmarks using advanced supply chain management techniques, lead the research in pursuit of industry best practices and communicate findings to both the client and SIS Executive staff. The Director must also have strong interpersonal, security, and organization skills, and be an enthusiastic leader who delivers exceptional results across the entire portfolio of business. The Director of Secure Logistics reports internally to the Vice President of Special Operations.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions
• Direct the initial provisioning and subsequent oversight of Secure Supply Chain Logistics for multiple fortune 500 clients on an international basis
• Conduct risk assessments through out the entire logistical process which includes but are not limited to Pick-up, Secure Storage, Inventory Management, Customs Clearance, Consolidation, Airline handling, Secure Transportation and Delivery
• Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction, integrity, and compliance with SIS and client policies and values
• Maintain close coordination and communicate regularly with client’s to ensure both new and existing requests and expectations are met
• Serve as a subject matter expert in various areas of Global Supply Chain and Secure Logistics
• Direct, change, staff, and manage assigned SIS personnel, policies, and procedures
• Manage 3rd party vendors to support Secure Supply Chain Logistics as needed
• Oversee contractual obligations and manage billing within the client ‘s budget or purchase order authority
• Maintain relationships with federal, state, and local law enforcement and other government agencies in support of private-public partnership initiatives
• Maintain relationships with key industry partners, professional organizations, and client related industry associations or groups to affect networking value for SIS and any high profile SIS clients
• Extensive domestic and international travel required (50%)

• Perform additional duties to support other key stakeholder groups of SIS as needed
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred with minimum of 10 years experience in Global Logistics & Supply Chain experience
• Experience managing a supply chain team on an international basis
• Solid understanding of import and export and customs regulations across multiple countries
• Previous experience working at a strategic level with a background of devising and executing supply chain strategies in a large corporate environment (Domestic/International)
• Proven track record of identifying, analyzing and implementing solutions from routine to moderate-complex operational and management problems in the areas of Global Supply Chain & Secure Logistics
• Strong leadership, analytical, project management, organizational, business continuity, corporate communications, and executive decision-making skills
• Seasoned in high-level presentation, interaction, and collaboration with senior executive management
• Must be intermediate level with common MAC OS based software platforms
• Must have a valid passport for international travel
