Director of Staff Development

Our client, a premiere Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), is seeking a RN Director of Staff Development (DSD) to orient and train new and existing staff. As the Director of Staff Development (DSD), you will prepare, develop, and implement a comprehensive staff development plan annually, evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and changing them as needed to improve effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities
As the Director of Staff Development, you'll direct and coordinate all in-service educational programs of the facility in accordance with the current Federal, State, and Local Regulations, as well as develop and direct orientation programs for skilled nursing personnel. You'll provide leadership, remain current on new developments and maintain a working relationship with the Medical Profession and other related organizations. You'll also develop, maintain and secure records, reports, instructional manuals and reference materials pertinent to in-service programs.

- Must have a valid license to practice as an RN.
- Must have at least one year of long term care experience.
- Must be knowledgeable with computers.
- Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.

Benefits
As Director of Staff Development you can expect an income of $70,000 to $80,000 per year based on experience with a fun and rewarding work environment and a benefits package that includes health insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.
