Kennesaw State University is seeking an experienced Director, who follows a student-centered philosophy, regularly infuses best practices into student recruitment, and connects recruitment activities to the strategic enrollment objectives of the institution and its schools and colleges. The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative and goal-oriented enrollment management professional prepared to lead a university-wide undergraduate and international student recruitment program.
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Enrollment Services, the Director works collaboratively with the Student Recruitment and Marketing team to develop data-driven core recruitment strategies and initiatives that identify, attract, and enroll an academically talented and diverse pool of undergraduate students. The Director works collaboratively with the Director of Student Marketing and Engagement to develop and implement marketing and student connectivity strategies that increases the number of qualified applicants who enroll each semester. The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and communicate effectively with diverse constituent groups, work successfully in cross-functional settings, and have a proven track record of recruiting and enrolling students within an enrollment management environment.

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years comparable/related experience; management/supervisory skills are required.
Master’s degree and seven to ten years of progressive leadership experience in the management of a college/univeristy-wide student recruitment program is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple teams and recruitment related initiatives to exceed enrollment goals. Knowledge of program evaluation and assessment methods and experience drawing key findings from data and applying to program improvements. Knowledge of best practices in college student recruitment. Advanced oral and written communication skills. Advanced computer literacy.
Demonstrated management and leadership ability and experience in motivating, supervising and evaluating the performance of staff. Decision making and problem solving skills. Knowledge of relational databases and computer operations. Knowledge and use of student search databases (SSS), student information systems, and new technologies including social media and management of higher education CRM systems. Ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, processes, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of budgetary processes. Extensive experience in a student services environment is strongly preferred. Knowledge of Banner is preferred.
