Due to our continued growth, we would like to announce an opening for a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Manager in our Cheshire, CT Headquarters. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, be able to work independently, and have the ability to gain trust and respect quickly in a changing environment.

Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Administers, plans, and further develops programs to assist company with DBE compliance.

Develops and facilitates regular training programs designed to ensure that company employees understand DBE requirements.

Conducts periodic audits of the company’s projects, subcontractors, suppliers, departments, and employees to ensure compliance with requirements.

Assists in identifying and recruiting DBE subcontractors and suppliers.

Represents company with various governmental agencies.

Participates in outreach programs to develop DBE assistance.

Carries out job duties and responsibilities while maintaining LANE values.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Business or Public Administration.

Minimum 3-5 years experience in DOT DBE compliance.

Knowledge in DBE certification requirements, programs, policies and procedures.

Knowledge in SBE/HUB programs desirable.

Experience in the construction industry preferred.

Must be willing to travel up to 50%.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are a must.

Must be proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
