: Leads dispatch team and ensures daily operations are met by programming employee tasks to support and coordinate field employee activity to meet customer service standards while maximizing productivity and efficiency. Communicates and collaborates with system and regional personnel to design and implement workforce strategy and fulfillment.

Illustrative Accountabilities: Communicates closely with team members throughout daily shift to resolve operational problems and develops employee skills by demonstrating excellent performance and technique. Promotes ongoing technical competence of Dispatch personnel by conducting on-the-job training and orientation, answering questions, serving as a role model, and communicating with the training department about instructional requirements with dynamic technology and new system and product launches. Resolves customer related service problems by evaluating work of team members, determining proper action needed for customer satisfaction, and consulting with manager about situations with significant financial impact. Ensures customer satisfaction by monitoring work quality provides employee orientation on products and special promotions and assists employees in achieving a professional image. Assures compliance with state and federal record keeping requirements by recording team members? Work schedule exceptions, overtime justification and premium pay eligibility. Oversees dispatch personnel to ensure optimal utilization of field resources to meet internal and external customer requirements. Assists employees in accomplishing objectives by monitoring performance, providing training, feedback, coaching, counseling, and evaluating performance. Establishes a high standard of productivity and accuracy by effectively interviewing, hiring, and training employees to attain proficiency and high performance.

Position Requirements

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. College level classes in management. 1-3 years in administrative or field position. PC proficiency (MSWord, Excel, e-mail). CableMaster/ICOMS skilled/knowledgeable. Communications tools experience (Two-Way Radio and Pagers). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good mathematical skills.

Job Functions: Ability to continuously speak and hear detailed or important information and instructions. Ability to continuously use repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Ability to occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force in order to move objects. Work requires visual acuity in order to prepare and analyze data at a distance close to the eyes. Ability to tolerate inside environmental conditions such as a typical office or administrative work environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervises the individual contributors and team leads within the dispatch function. May be responsible for measuring performance.
