Essential Job Responsibilities:|
The Dispatcher is responsible for dispatching Special/Alternate care partners to client home when regular is unavailable or new client initiation.
Responsible for coordinating care partner schedules to perform services in client homes.
Responsible for daily log of care partner hours and mileage.
Responsible for checking Special/Alternate timesheets for accuracy and timely submission to Payroll department.
Responsible for maintaining a system for accurate location of Special/Alternate care partners during the day.
Assists Care Coordinators with assuring all clients are being serviced.
May assist with filing, recruiting or other duties as assigned.
Responsible for timely return of voicemail messages.
Communicates with Agency Administrators, and Directors to ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures.
Answers phone when assigned.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Skill in records maintenance; ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports
Knowledge of dispatching procedures
Data entry skills required
Ability to use independent judgment; ability to manage confidential information; ability to interact successfully with people
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to process time sensitive material in a timely manner
Ability to organize work in such a fashion to obtain maximum productivity.
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum one year experience in general clerical duties.
Must be 18 years of age.
