This position will answer calls from customers, providing accurate route information, assisting with concerns pertaining to routes and record and relay accurate messages to staff. This position will monitor daily operation to ensure on-time delivery of service and fill open shifts, driving when necessary.

The ability to communicate effectively and interact with the public and other employees in a courteous, responsive, and cordial manner is required. A high school diploma or GED is required. A valid Virginia Driver’s License and an excellent driving record are required. A Commercial Driver’s License is required within thirty days of employment. This position is subject to a criminal background check and the Federal CDL drug testing regulations. A pre-employment drug screening is required and this position is subject to random testing during the employment period. Qualified applicants must have the ability to become certified in First Aid and CPR, they must also have moderate knowledge of computers including Windows, and using e-mail. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit for up to three hours at a time, as well as see, speak and hear.

The hourly rate is $11.50. The hours of work will vary. This position will not exceed 1,500 hours during any consecutive 12 month period.
