DESCRIPTION

Dispatcher Position Summary:
Woodard Cleaning & Restoration is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our Dispatch Team. As a Dispatcher your primary responsibility is to route, schedule and dispatch personnel, equipment, and vehicles for normal and emergency services which allow for the timeliest and most efficient delivery of Woodard services to our customers. DUTIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The Ideal Applicant will:
  • Route, schedule and dispatch personnel, equipment, and vehicles for normal and emergency services
  • Monitor crew routes throughout the day, making adjustments as needed
  • Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and customers
  • Confer with customers and Woodard personnel to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment
  • Prepare daily work and run schedules
  • Receive, prepare and distribute work orders
  • Monitor personnel and/or equipment locations and utilization in order to coordinate service and schedules
  • Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information
  • Determine needed equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications
  • Utilize crew paperwork to ensure team member time is accurate and charged to the correct locations
  • Ensure payroll time is correct and perform live transfer of personnel in Kronos payroll system
  • Advise personnel about traffic problems and other hazards
  • Compile lists of available vehicles to be utilized by production team
  • Confer with customers to inform them of pending services
  • Develop great relationships with other Woodard staff which builds trust
  • Document/communicate quality control issues pertaining to production staff
QUALIFICATIONS

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Majority of the work is performed in an office environment with some potential of working on location

Some overtime is required. Hours include some Saturdays. Ability to be flexible with schedule during busy periods is a requirement

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

Must be able to manipulate a keyboard and mouse

Must be able to handle pressure of customer and technician requests

Must have normal visual, speed, and auditory acuity

Must be able to ascend and descend stairs on a regular basis

Ideal Education/Experience
2+ years of prior relevant experience
Associate's degree preferred
