We have a Distribution Center Supervisor opportunity for our First Responder Products in our Dayton, OH facility.

The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for managing the shipping department, warehouse, receiving, and distribution center.

Accountable for goals for safety, quality (preventing customer escapes, high level of accuracy and timeliness for paperwork, data, and transactions affecting internal and external customers), delivery (timely delivery of goods to internal customers and meet/exceed OTTR targets for external customers), cost (achieve productivity and Kaizen/CI goals), and inventory (dollar levels, DOS, and inventory record accuracy).
Responsible for mentoring and coaching, and training employees, as well as holding them accountable for goals and performance (results and behaviors).
Provide leadership in supporting HOS (lean manufacturing) goals and achieving phase exit dates. Responsible for documenting standard work, auditing the standard work, and engaging employees to continuously improve the standard work.
Continually assess technology, capital equipment, and software applications and take action to 'modernize' shipping, warehouse, receiving, and the DC.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or in lieu of a degree 5 years of experience in distribution/warehouse environment.
3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
2 years of experience MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Additional Experience:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Demonstrated skills in problem-solving, analytical decision-making.
Training and experience implementing lean manufacturing.
Manufacturing environment experience.
