We are currently seeking a Distribution Scheduler to join our Warehouse Operations team. The Distribution Scheduler will be responsible for coordinating inter-company planning and scheduling, and for the transfering of inventory management functions, movement of intercompany freight, lean activities, customer service, inventory control, and quality goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Works safely, adhering to CMCO policies and procedures.
Review and evaluate suggested inventory stocking levels to maintain established customer service levels.
Schedule shipments to various locations according to established shipping schedule.
Prepares or authorizes purchase requisitions.
Evaluates need to reorder inventory based on customer demand, forecast, unusual demand, slow moving inventory, geographical locations and related issues.
Responsible for all intercompany inventory transfers timeliness, necessity, and completion.
Expedite product that may delay or alter production scheduling and/or effect on-time delivery for customer orders.
Prepares, analyze and review various Distribution reports.
Maintain spreadsheets on various Distribution data.
Input receiving, shipment, cycle count and sales order data into CMCO business systems.
Research shortages, damages and other related issues with proper personnel.
Support CMCO business strategies, plans and objectives.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Experience
Associate’s degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
C.P.I.M. certification preferred.
Ability to count and do basic math without the assistance of a calculator.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to read and interpret accounting and financial reports.
Ability to communicate, both written and spoken word, effectively and professionally.
Ability to read and interpret written and/or verbal instructions.
Ability to document processes in written form so the pertinent personnel can easily comprehend and follow.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), internet software, and an inventory control system (EG: BPCS, SAP, CMBIS).
