Provide oversight of the Distribution Group and the associated Distribution Technicians. Oversee and direct activities associated with the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of the utility distribution and collection systems, including but not limited to the distribution systems for steam, condensate, chilled water, electricity, domestic cold water, domestic hot water, and compressed air and the collection systems for storm water and sanitary sewage.
Serve as the construction administrator for utility expansions of the distribution and collection systems under the project management provided by the Utilities Engineering Group.
Interface with users to deal with service issues related to distribution problems. Interface with contractors and users to schedule outages and connections to utility distribution systems.
This position must be available to respond to emergency situations regardless of the time of day.
Associate's degree or up to 3 years of college or technical school with 7 or more years of field experience.

Good working understanding of the theory, operation and maintenance of the following: steam, domestic hot and cold water, compressed air, condensate and chilled water distribution piping systems, pumps, compressors, building cooling and heating systems, electrical distribution systems and pressure reducing valves.
