Florida's First Coast YMCA has an up and coming opportunity for a District Executive Director to join our team!
The First Coast YMCA is $30+ Million dollar association. It located on the beautiful river city of Jacksonville Florida which boasts both city life and beach living. We are impacting lives in 5 counties with 15 membership facilities, 1 resident camp, 1 charter elementary school, 40 based childcare sites, 2 facilities for the profoundly disabled and 2 youth development campuses.
Under the general guidance of the Vice President of Operations the District Executive will lead one of the association flag ship branches with a $4M budget. They will also be responsible for supervising additional branches within the district.
He/she would be responsible for strategic planning, board development, annual campaign goals, staff development, creating collaborations with in the community, and innovative program development.

Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 6 years of experience in YMCA management experience or directly related leadership experience in a non-profit organization.
Experience in leading a complex organization and demonstrated ability to manage significant annual budget responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to develop a diverse volunteer board of community leaders and to work closely with board to set and execute strategy.
Demonstrated ability to develop a deep understanding of the full range of community needs and to develop programs to address these needs.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Director level staff teams with a demonstrated passion for development of others.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Must be computer literate with MS Word and Excel skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and others in a fast paced environment.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
