Summary of Responsibilities:
The District Sales Manager I performs a wide variety of duties to establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with Chrysler dealers. The District Sales Manager I will be responsible for attaining projected performance goals by promoting ancillary programs and products to meet and exceed profitability targets.

Essential Functions:
Partners with dealer principals to forecast and achieve performance goals.

Promotes additional ancillary programs and/or products to increase business to meet profitability targets

Analyzes business processes to identify improvements that streamline the Finance process

Provides one on one training with the Finance and Insurance Manager on the Chrysler Consulting sales process.

Achieves performance objectives set forth by Chrysler Consulting and dealer principals while managing time to complete all reporting requirements.

Builds and cultivates relationships with dealership personnel in order to support Chrysler Capital’s growth targets.

Provides best in class customer service with all dealer personnel

Trains and educates all dealership personnel on new products and existing products to increase business

Works with dealership personnel to ensure agreed upon objectives are properly executed.

Other Functions:
Special projects as requested.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree preferred; Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

Minimum five (5) years’ experience in retail automotive

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Finance and Insurance Manager

Excellent negotiation and written and verbal communication skills

Strong presentation and public speaking skills

  • Excellent customer service skills and relationship building
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Ability to work independently and manage work schedule

Successful history facilitating training

Strong problem solving skills.

Flexibility to travel.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Working Conditions:
Extended working hours may be required as dictated by management and business needs.

Travel to multiple facilities may be required.

May be required to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.

May be required to sit and review information on a computer screen for long periods of time.

May require repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard.

Corporate / satellite office role.
