We invite you to join our dynamic sales team. As the District Sales Manager you will coach and mentor a group of passionate Sales Consultants to success. Your mission is to grow new and existing business, while maintaining exceptional customer service to our existing accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity that will oversee the Southern District which will include the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and have responsibility for:
Planning and achieving sales goals for new and existing business
Ensuring sales team maintains and cultivates relationships with top and new accounts
Coaching and mentoring Sales Consultants in activities that build field sales effectiveness and account growth
Managing the field sales team: hiring, mentoring, coaching, training and reviewing staff performance
Implementing the localized marketing mix for products and promotions
Budgeting and managing profit and loss
Our ideal candidate will be degreed with 5 plus years of field sales management experience in the salon, health or beauty industry. Residency in Dallas, TX is required. Experience selling to the smaller independent customer (vs. mass merchandisers or department stores) is preferred. Regular travel is a component of this position. We seek a charismatic, hands-on manager, who leads by example, is results-oriented with a proven track record of sales success.
