Responsibilities
This opportunity is with our Selling Solutions Commercial Division, which partners with top tier pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that deliver. Our team of more than 2,900 sales and marketing specialist span virtually every therapeutic category within the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. The selected professional hire and lead a team of Sales professionals to promote our client’s products to targeted physicians and accounts to achieve specific business goals, and more specifically:
  • Direct Sales Professionals in the acquisition, expansion and retention of targeted business within the assigned geographic area.
  • Participate in the formulation of Regional/District sales strategies, interpret strategies and apply to business issues within the geographic area.
  • Develop District Business Plans that effectively translate national strategy at the District level.
  • Establish and manage Regional/District expense budgets; ensure appropriate return on investment.
  • Work with Sales Professioanls on a consistent basis, evaluation, coaching and directing sales presentations.

Requirements
Along with demonstrated creativity, self-assurance and an engaging manner, the ideal candidate has: B
  • achelor’s degree, ideally in a life sciences field
  • A t least 5 years experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Manager
  • Previous experience in Diabetes and/or Respiratory sales is preferred
  • S trong sales and relationship building skills
  • D ocumented track record of success
  • P roven business acumen and a working knowledge of applied science
  • H igh degree of initiative and personal influence
  • A n entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset
  • P owerful communication, listening and computer skills
  • E xperience in building sales teams and/or new product launch is very helpful
