Due to internal transfer, we have a sales management opportunity for a District Sales Manager to join our Gulf Region sales team based in Baton Rouge, LA.

This sales position is to cover the assigned general market accounts in and around the Baton Rouge, LA area.

Candidates must live in the assigned geographic sales area. No relocation benefits are being offered.

This sales districts market covers grocery accounts in and around the assigned sales area.

Our sales opportunity will be responsible for growing our sales by through direct store delivery to ensure our customer service expectations and the Regions sales and profit objectives are achieved.

Additional responsibilities include ensuring sales distribution, service frequency, sales merchandising and route efficiencies.

For consideration we strongly prefer candidates who have:

• Minimum of 5 years managing route sales.

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience in a DSD organization.

• Sales account experience with accounts in the area strongly preferred.

• Experience working with independent distributors.

• Experience in management of sales professionals.

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred.

• An undergraduate college degree is strongly preferred.

• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.

• General understanding of the grocery industry.

• A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are required.

To meet the service expectations of our customers you need to be able to work flexible hours and days, including weekends as needed and you need to live in the geographic area.
