This senior professional position will support a Division Vice President in analyzing field operations to maintain and improve operational efficiencies, analyze productivity levels, improve margin performance, and monitor customer gains & losses. The preferred incumbent will have obtained a Bachelors degree in finance, production operations management (POM) or related field of study. This level of position will have a minimum of 5 years of working professional experience in manufacturing and/or related industrial process improvement environment. This position may mentor lower level Business Operations Analysts and possibly lead various operational projects.
Work directly with field management in analyzing areas of possible operation improvement that impacts OCF, margin, and expense control (e.g. parking trucks, sending flex home, cutting down on office expenses, vehicle repair, etc.).
Work directly with field management on scorecard analysis and follow-up with various managers to identify areas for improvement.
Completes due diligence on potential acquisitions within the division and may lead the transition in moving the acquired operations into existing.
Review customer gain/loss analysis, identify trends, improvement areas and associated issues.
Analyze and review Other Income performance and work with Regional Business Analysts to identify areas of improvement.
Manage and approve growth AFEs
Analyze and manage margin performance to include amount of negotiated orders against a predetermined benchmark.
Work with the Division Field Manager (DFM) to analyze productivity and efficiency data.
Assist the Regional Managers with data analysis within their Region.
Manage SmartFill to include interfacing with the DFM to identify expense savings opportunities, and work with the DCSM to identify customer service improvement opportunities.
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Production Operations Management of related filed of study. Prefer Masters Degree
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in manufacturing and/or related industrial process improvement environment.
Multi-Unit experience required.
Strong Project Management skills preferred
Excellent analytical skills including development of trend reports, operational excellence reviews,
Excellent business management skills.
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent computer skills using quantitative software (i.e. Excel Analytical Pac.)
Excellent oral and written communication/interpersonal skills with all levels of management.
Solid experience using PeopleSoft CRM software as a business operational tool.
