Responsible for planning, developing, and strategy execution for quality, patient safety, clinical process improvement, clinical performance measurement, and knowledge management initiatives throughout the Southern Illinois Division of HSHS. Will be responsible for the development of an integrated approach to quality and patient safety across the organization as well as all facets of Quality Mgt, Clinical Performance Improvement, Decision Support, Patient Safety and Health System Accreditation.
Master’s degree in Public Health, Hospital Administration, Business Administration or related field. Advanced certification in healthcare administration and/or quality preferred. Requires d etailed knowledge in the areas of quality and patient safety, measurement and data analysis, quality and patient safety related public reporting requirements, process improvement, healthcare processes, facilitation, coaching, and team building. Demonstrated skills in Quality Improvement and operations improvement (e.g. 'Lean') methods, Lean Certification required, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
