Provide Division Order support for the North American Shale Production Division including assistance to Division Order Analysts and Land related to set up and maintenance of ownership Division Of Interests (DOI) for Joint Ventures, along with Revenue DOIs for distribution of production within the geographical area assigned
  • DOI set up and maintenance includes, title analysis, interpretation, ownership preparation and changes to record title ownership of minerals, working and royalty interests
  • Scope is focused on areas assigned with the understanding that workload balancing may occur requiring assistance in other areas
  • Provide support to ensure ownership is accurately captured and information is appropriately communicated within the organization
  • Prepare and issue Division/Transfer Order Contracts
  • Comply with governmental and Regulatory reporting tasks associated with Division Order work
  • Learn and comply with Division Orders data guidelines and procedures including Quality Assurance
  • Serve as support resource to land department, technical teams and management on Division Order and royalty payment related topics
  • Assist with the set up and maintenance of Division of Interests in the Land System to ensure royalty payments made to private, corporate, and government mineral owners are in compliance with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations, and contracts This includes: processing ownership changes, name address change/adds; research for analysts, assist with incoming mail; Division Order Contract preparation, mail out and processing returns includes estimate DOI and actual DOI set ups and maintenance
  • Work with analysts and landmen to prepare and analyst documents to cure title requirements and release owner's suspense
  • With revenue accounting identify and process void and reissue/suspend royalty payments, support revenue payment process
  • Communicate with Joint Venture accounting to ensure revenue and billing ownerships match
  • Learn basic knowledge on applicable laws, statutes and industry standards related to leasing, contracts and mineral ownership in the geographical area assigned
  • Recognize and develop solutions for common ownership and payment issues, including operated and non-operated ventures
  • Research and resolve Owner Relations/Partner inquiries and issues related to DOI ownership and payments, escalate as necessary
  • Stay current with land systems technology, common office software and use them to improve Land systems and work process
  • Generate business and regulatory reports for compliance to assist land and technical teams in analysis and decision-making
  • Work with Land Business Records staff to ensure records are property stored and indexed in Land E Filing system Includes restricted document controls
  • Assist with Call Center as needed
  • Special Land Administration projects as assigned
