Role Overview
The incumbent, as a key member of the Divisional Finance Management team, will provide a broad range of Finance support services and business advice to a group of Customer account executives within a North American division. They will be responsible for leading a team of Business Finance/ Planning specialists located in Champaign in the areas of monthly and quarterly financial planning, reporting and analysis. In their leadership role the incumbent will demonstrate strong accounting and business skills along with a solid knowledge of contracts and project accounting.

In this role the incumbent will lead a finance team that interacts closely with senior business executives and their teams along with internal Corporate accounting and planning groups in the areas of contract and project accounting, monthly planning and actual reporting, Corporate accounting governance, support for Invoicing and collection activities and finance systems evolution. This position fits within a larger Divisional Finance team and will also be involved in supporting Divisional consolidation, reporting and analytical activities.

Requirements

3-5 years progressive Finance Management/team leadership

Demonstrated ability to work in highly matrixed environment

Demonstrated personal initiative to resolve issues, improve processes

Ability to Multi-task and prioritize

Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Business degree or Masters &/or Professional designation (ie: CMA/CGA/CPA)

Experience with accounting for complex contracts/projects

Management skills/experience mentoring/developing/team player
All Amdocs roles require strong verbal and written communications skills, position-appropriate mentoring/leadership abilities, ability to quickly master new systems and/or processes, capacity to stay organized while managing competing priorities, and a deep customer service orientation, both internally and externally.
