The Divisional Wholesaler Senior Manager plays a critical role in the leadership team of the Divisional Wholesaler team within North America Distribution (NAD). This addition to the growing team will manage a team of Divisional Wholesalers through the coordination and improvement of the on-boarding process, the development of necessary sales and presentation skills, the maintenance of training schedules, and the motivation the team. The Senior Manager will conduct territory coverage analysis and make recommendations for further improvements to better utilize resources and increase client service.
Primary responsibilities/essential functions:
Manages performance and development of a team of Divisional Wholesalers.
Participates in the hiring process, and leads the on-boarding process for new Divisional Wholesalers
Travels with Divisional Wholesalers to clients to assess performance and better mentor in areas including sales skills, presentation skills, and territory management skills.
Manages projects related to business planning, staffing and recruiting, and ongoing training and development for the Divisional Wholesalers.
Reviews, assesses, and monitors territory team business plans and develops strategies for successful plan execution.
Analyzes territory coverage, identifies opportunities for improvement, and recommends adjustments to senior management.
Builds, leverages, and fosters business relationships with clients, including other business areas.
Establishes individual/team goals and objectives for associates to support business area objectives.
Proactively reviews team processes and work product to identify risk, assure best practices and align with current business needs.
Represents the company in external meetings Hiring Criteria Hiring Critera:
7-10 plus years managing a team
Strong communication and presentation skills
Experience leading and managing projects
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and analytical skills
Sales experience and financial services experience preferred
