Document Control Technician

Responsible for project document controls for an ARCADIS client in an office setting. Set-up and maintenance of project files for a complex design and construction projects. Maintains databases of project information for use by project team and client, receives and files documents, retrieves information and coordinates with various project manages.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Minimum years of experience: 5 years of experience as a Document Control Technician. Must have an understanding of the document life cycle, preferably within a facility design and construction environment. Must have experience within a K-12 environment. Experience filing electronic and hard copy documentation. Competent in the use of construction management / document control technology such as Contract Manager (CM12), Proliance, Sharepoint, or Expedition. Experience working in document controls for multiple project managers simultaneously. Experience as a Document Controls Technician involving large or complex projects.
  • Education required: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills required: Computer proficiency, including Word and Excel. Good organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Years of experience preferred: 5
  • Education preferred: Associates Degree. Specialized courses in document management, business management, or computer technology preferred.
  • This position does require travel. Travel amount is negligible.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
  • This position does not manage others.
