Responsible for the following: 1) Prepares documents for scanning, scans batches of documents, indexes and performs quality assurance checks on scanned documents, 2) Prepares and completes logs for scanning process, 3) Prepares Q.A'd documents for storage, 4) Monitors forms used by clinical staff to ensure updated versions are in use. Must work effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy; Possess a sense of responsibility, initiative, and honesty; Ability to work under pressure; Ability to lift 30 pounds; Ability to stoop, kneel and reach in order to locate medical records. Qualifications: High School graduate; Knowledge of computers; Working knowledge of basic office machines, printers, fax machines, copy machines. Previous document scanning experience preferred.
