We have an exciting, unique opportunity for an internship in our Dosage Form Solutions (DFS) Department located in Morristown, NJ. In this role you will interact with the Marketing, Business Development and R&D Teams including senior executives. The DFS business unit and product platforms are being managed by a dedicated team and the current website needs revamping to accurately represent the initiative. Become part of a talented team, building core web-based marketing, website architecture and technical writing, and business skills while gaining exposure to the dynamic pharmaceutical industry.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about his /her work, will enjoy working closely with other members of the organization to contribute to the success of Capsugel, will utilize technology resources productively, and will be able to work on a wide range of tasks.
2013 initiatives include, but are not limited to:
DFS web marketing
Evaluate current website vs. DFS business objectives, develop short-term recommendations to refine messaging and expand reach
Conduct competitive benchmarking as part of evaluation
Conduct website best practices for service and science intensive business model as part of evaluation
Develop long-term recommendations / ROI
Recommend links appropriate for DFS model
Recommend meta-tag approach for optimal search engine placement
DFS Technical model projection
Determine which technical tools and reference data / articles / posters need (better) web placement and relative priorities
Recommend web-based, proactive placement approach for new technical data / information to technical audience
Qualified candidates must have the following skills and attributes:
Must be a graduate student studying marketing, technical background a plus, website design / web-based marketing a plus
A thinker with solid analytical skills, high-energy, and can-do attitude
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and written and a strong command of the English language.
Ability to work independently and coordinate projects
Ability to handle multiple demands and priorities
simultaneously and take responsibilities seriously
Excellent presentation and prioritization skills; some experience presenting to senior leaders (or professors)
High level of professionalism to interact with internal clients and external parties
Must have a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
Ability to exercise good judgment in dealing with confidential matters
Willingness to learn new skills
Strong attention to detail
Local candidates preferred (< 1 hour commute)
This is a paid 10 week internship. It is expected that the candidate would work full time from beginning May 29th.
