The Drafter position is responsible for working with Engineers/Designers on the generation of detailed manufacturing and marketing drawings for multiple product lines, as well as support to the Part Number Add process.

Responsibilities include:
Drafting work required to support design iterations as part of the ECN process and is required as well to independently process ECN’s as assigned by the Drafting Manager.

Defining and maintaining the part number and drawing file electronic data and working within all applicable departmental guidelines as set forth in the ISO 9001-2000 system in place at the Houston facility.

Responsible for overall quality of drafting work produced by Engineering.

Required Skills

Position requires 2 years in a similar position, working with detailed, mechanical design drawings.

3-D modeling experience in Solidworks and AutoCAD preferred.

Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail required.

Understanding of the manufacturing process helpful.
