The Drive Coordinator is responsible for assigned Donor Centers and all drives/follow up pertaining to those centers. Proficiently screens, enters and prepares information for donor-related data collection; reviews data for accuracy, contacts donors to verify or clarify data integrity, and otherwise manages changes to donor records and/or other data collection and management at the NMDP. Performs donor updates in STAR Link
. Performs donor contacts and follow-up on DIY donors.
High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree within the Health Care or related field is preferred.
Two years work experience in a position that required database management, basic word processing, data entry, and report development. Experience with medical or confidential documents preferred
Confidential information management knowledge. Alpha/numeric keyboarding knowledge. Quality Assurance principles and standards. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
