Plans, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Driver Compliance program for each division throughout the Southern Territory; ensures the accomplishment of the various tasks in the most efficient and effective manner possible; cross-trains and supports Southern Territory Officers and/or employees in the Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and Driver Qualification process; ensures that Salvation Army Officers and employees are in compliance with established policies and procedures. This position must maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive information obtained through motor vehicle reports.

Required Experience:
Knowledge of general office principles, practices, and procedures. Knowledge of the principles and practices of fleet safety management. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of the department. Ability to ensure compliance with territorial policies and procedures. Ability to monitor compliance with state regulations in regards to Motor Vehicle Reports. Ability to serve as an effective liaison to third party administrators to identify and make progress toward mutually beneficial goals. Ability to use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data or process information. Ability to compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, and verify information or data via MS Excel spreadsheets. Ability to process a high volume of paperwork.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships throughout the Southern Territory. Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to perform routine and complex mathematical calculations and interpret financial statements. Ability to operate a computer.

Required Education:
High School Diploma or G.E.D required, AND Five years progressively responsible experience processing and reporting highly confidential or sensitive information including maintaining database records OR any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Certifications:
Valid Driver’s License

Additional Comments:Physical Requirements:
Able to sit and work at the computer for extended periods of the time. Occasional walking, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying up to 10 lbs. Occasional travel as necessary.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like.
