The Employment Verifications Processor is responsible for all past employment verifications for the hired Owner operators and their drivers. Ensures that all internal policies and procedures are followed, and adherence to all D.O.T. Regulations. Accountable for time to process new applicant’s verifications, upload all supporting documents and enters all required information into our online database- Ten Street, and fix any problems that may arise when the receiving the completed verification.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Primary duties include but not limited to the following:
• Works closely with Driver Qualifications Supervisor on verification issues, workflow, work load leveling, processes and procedures as well as escalated issues of any kind within the department.
• Communicates with past employers, terminals and applicants as necessary.
• Enters driver applicant information into the computer (Ten Street) to generate an employment verification.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent. College course work or a college degree is a plus. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum 2-4 years of administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must possess excellent oral communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking skills in a time-sensitive work environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Must have the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office products with a strong focus on Excel.
• Basic understanding of truck driver regulatory requirements a plus.
• Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT and State and local rules and regulations a plus.
