The BOSS Group is partnering with an innovative, international digital agency with a diverse and exciting client list to identify a Drupal Developer for a temporary opportunity in Atlanta, GA . The Drupal Developer who is able to balance business and design needs with development standards and scalability demands. Interacting with back-end developers and user interface (UI) designers, you must understand how to design and structure websites and applications for site speed and maintenance. Some HTML5 and CSS3 experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Build, test and maintain UI code using HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and DOM
Develop new features using JavaScript and jQuery
Produce fast-loading websites
Create functional prototypes to demonstrate concepts
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related field
At least 3 years hands on Drupal 6 and development experience
Experience in Drupal views, panels, theming, drush and customizing modules
Expertise with XHTML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Previous experience with JSON, XML data and JavaScript libararies, such as jQuery
Strong PHP and MySQL skills
Understanding of site navigation and web design principles
Experience with mobile platforms and mobile websites highly desired
