AREA203 is looking for a Drupal Technical Team Lead to join our quickly expanding team. We are interested in hiring focused, detail-oriented individual to design and deploy integrated marketing programs based on clients’ business objectives and brand strategies. This person will answer directly to the Director of User Experience. Essential Functions:
  • Day-to-day leadership of a growing team of Drupal developers
  • Work closely with project managers to relay project status
  • Communicate with clients for regular updates
  • Work with production teams to plan, schedule and oversee project work
  • Work with other business entities for both technical and user experience requirements
  • Take responsibility for complex projects and own the product
  • Oversee project documentation
  • Help with development tasks as necessary
Skills Required:
  • Team leadership and initiative skills
  • Previous knowledge of PHP/HTML/MySQL web development, preferably Drupal
  • Extensive experience leading small teams of software developers
  • Awareness of working on sites in a multi-server, high availability and high load environment
  • Experience with integration to third party APIs
  • Knowledge of user-experience best practices in UI development
  • Understanding of SVN and version control software
  • Possess strong business ethics; reliable and dependable
  • Any experience of A/B or multivariate testing a bonus
  • Team working skills essential- both within the team and across other teams (e.g. design)
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 3 years developing websites
  • Minimum 5 years managing small software/web development teams
