Durability Engineer Durability test engineer's duties consist of the following: root cause analysis, reporting and documenting issues, writing work orders, diagnosing issues, presenting information both written and verbal, participating in meetings, facilitating meetings, using diagnostic equipment, collecting and analyzing data, hands-on vehicle evaluations, directing mechanics and technicians. The durability engineer must work well independently and in team settings. Needs to be self-directed, self-sufficient and assist others as required. He/she must possess the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college or - Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.- Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization. - Self-directed, team oriented with demonstrated planning/problem solving skills.- Experience and working knowledge of computer systems and software required.- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)- Demonstrated ability for planning, prioritizing and goal setting- Knowledge of vehicle systems (Powertain, BIW, Exterior, Interior, Chassis, Electrical)- Hands-on vehicle experience- Diagnostic tool experience- Motivated by challenges and changes- Customer-oriented - Valid drivers license required to drive company vehicles at CPG
