The role of a Dynamics-SL Solution Architect spans the entire lifecycle of a Dynamics-SL project including: Pre-Sales Solution Architecture, Project Definition/Estimating, Business Requirements Analysis, Functional/Technical Design, Implementation, Quality Assurance and System Deployment.
A Dynamics-SL Solution Architect will have strong functional knowledge of Dynamics-SL, including knowledge of the relevant ISV applications, and a good understading of the Dynamics SL technical foundation. A Dynamics-SL Solution Architect will be an expert in the Dynamics SL Finance and Project Series and should have at least a good understanding of two (2) additional major areas of Dynamics-SL (i.e. Logistics, Service, Manufacturing, Payroll, Integrations, etc.).
A Solution Architect must have strong collaboration skills. They will work with Business Development, Solutions Consultants, Project Managers, Functional Consultants, Technical Consdultants and Developers. They will be part of one or multiple project teams and will use problem-solving skills to design, develop and deploy solutions for Tribridge Clients.
A Dynamics-SL Solution Architect must have skills to estimate work plans and contribute or draft proposals. Depending on the skills of the solution architect, they may estimate some areas independently and/or collaborate with peers from the SL Practice in constructing estimates on Dynamics-SL projects that comply with standard Tribridge Methodologies.
A Solutions Architect should be able to leverage multiple projects, as they will be the oversight for systems design and build. An SL Solution Architect could have both billable and non-billable activities and quotas will vary depending on skill sets and focus.
Consulting work will be primarily performed at our client sites. Some amount of overnight travel (approximately 70%) is inherent in any consulting business and will be required of our Team Members. Client locations may also be spread out over a geographic area and will require additional daily driving time for Team Members to reach their work site. Tribridge will reimburse for mileage and out of town travel expenses incurred while working on client sites according to the Tribridge stated policies.

Assist in the Discovery phase (as required) with the ability to help estimate the workplan required to turn the prospect into a proposal
Perform gap analysis between Dynamics SL functionality and client's requirements
Identify and recommend product customizations, third party products (ISVs), enhancements, or workarounds to meet client requirements
Develop functional and technical specifications for Dynamics SL enhancements and integrations to other business applications
Assist Industry leads in estimating the steps in formulating their solution maps (based on your industry knowledge)
Education, Certifications and Experience
4-year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent required
5 to 8 years experience in Dynamics SL
Experience in vSL7.0 minimum, SL2012 experience preferred
Strong functional knowledge of the finance, project accounting and distribution modules required; Other module knowledge such as Service, Payroll, Manufacturing or Integrations desirable
5 years experience estimating the Dynamics SL workplans required
5 years experience identify and recommending product customizations, third party products (ISVs), enhancements, or workarounds to meet client requirements
5 years experience develop functional and technical specifications for Dynamics SL enhancements and integrations
Experience implementing other Dynamics ERP solutions (GP, NAV, AX) a plus
