DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Solving technical problems for air quality issues
• Managing air quality projects
• Interpreting results and clearly communicating findings
• Managing regional, state and federal air permitting as an experienced consultant, regulator, or working within industy
• Working knowledge of Title V, New Source Review (NSR), PSD, MACT/BACT/LAER, GHG, and NSPS and NESHAP compliance. Experience in the oil and gas industry a plus
• Assembling permit applications, permit amendment applications, and other documents necessary for submittal to the state and local regulatory agencies for clients
• Tracking applicable air quality legislation, regulations and communicate these requirements and impacts to clients
• Supporting clients with State Implementation Plans (SIP) process
• Data Management Tasks related to Air Quality Compliance
• Project management, budgeting, and directing/mentoring less experienced personnel
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• BS Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science or related Engineering/Scientific Degree
• A minimum of 5-15 years experience in air compliance, planning, and/or permitting programs
• Highly motivated to expand client base
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills are required
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
• Successful candidate will have experience in project management, business development, and proposal writing or the ability to rapidly evolve into these areas.
