Job Description

Job Purpose:
Coordinate and manage the day-to-day business activities of all internet-based operations as well as managing the company's web development. Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Service and Graphic Design teams to execute successful product, service and promotional launches.

Essential Duties:
Develop and execute the overall e-Commerce business strategy, including a visually appealing, logical and highly functional website, to sustainable growth including achievement of sales margin and P&L goals
Create and execute a vision and plan, including website policies, procedures, best practice standards and search engine optimization methods to comply with multiple state, local and federal laws, to deliver an exceptional user experience (UX) measured by financial results and key website metrics ensuring content layout, site navigation and graphics is logical and easy to navigate
Directly responsible for strategic and day-to-day execution of all online business aspects including e-commerce sales, budget, promotions and customer experience as well as all commercial Marketing programs (including but not limited to: M-Commerce (mobile), S-Commerce (social media), SEO (search engine optimization), Email and Syspro (Enterprise Resource Program)
Lead the process of sourcing and implementing new online marketing opportunities, technologies and website design experiences that may be competitive or complimentary to the e-commerce merchandise strategy
Collaborate with management team to identify business needs and prioritization with the focus on maintaining best in class website performance, presentation and advertising positioning

Other Duties & Responsibilities:
Review website performance through on-going forecasting, traffic reports, result analysis and initial corrective action by defining established sales, expense and profitability goals and objectives
Assess online merchandise gaps and create an online marketing strategy to identify and recommend the best online assortment based on analysis of buying trends, site analytics and e-marketing results
Act as a liaison between the creative and production side of e-commerce
In partnership with Marketing and Graphic Design, develop appropriate promotional and marketing strategies to drive the key metrics of the business which includes relevant traffic, conversion, sales and margin
Assemble data for weekly and monthly e-commerce reports
Maintain updates and resolve issues regarding the web site exercising due diligence in testing code in key browsers before released to the public
Support the management team on all special projects as requested

High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years technical or E-commerce project management experience
Building /Agricultural background strongly preferred
Solid experience creating effective online customer experiences (UX)
In-depth knowledge of the latest web-design trends and techniques
Ability to collaborate with internal technical and marketing team to create visually stunning and engaging experiences utilizing a solid understanding of UI/UX best practices
Strong understanding of digital landscape (online merchandising, digital marketing, IT/web development) and how to translate that into increasing value of brand and performance of business
Able to work in a dynamic environment with proven experience working collaboratively across many functions and levels within an organization
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and results
Strong independent decision making, organization, planning and problem-solving skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Proficient in maintaining site editing, adding images and content
Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, ASP and XML, Photoshop/Illustrator
Ability to multi-task and work independently with attention to detail
